My name is Elsie. I was involved in an auto accident in 2023. I was rear-ended. I came to Dr. Schultz’s office shortly after the accident where I had a consultation and examination. I then started treatment pertaining to my injury: lower back pain, neck pain, and pain down my right leg.
I was given neck adjustments and back alignments which helped me quite a bit.
One other thing I was surprised about my treatment was it lowered my blood pressure which I was taking medication for before starting the treatment. The nerve going to my kidney and regulating my blood pressure had apparently been irritated by a misplaced vertebra.
I feel all adjustments and alignments were very helpful. Nerve stimulation treatments were very effective. I would recommend Dr. Schultz to anyone having lower back trouble, neck or even high blood pressure problems.

Low Back Killing Me, Sciatica, Short Leg Syndrome & Prostate
After sitting in a seminar room over an entire weekend, my low back was killing me. The pain also had begun going down into my leg.
I sought care at Schultz Chiropractic Clinic and was diagnosed as having a twisted 5th lumbar and a pinched nerve, with a short leg.
To my amazement, my prostate problem, which I have had for years, also improved. Dr. Schultz explained how the nerve which passes through the lowest lumbar not only goes down the leg—but also goes to the prostate to make it function.
Taking pressure off that nerve not only made my leg pain better, but also helped my prostate. My medical doctor was also impressed and cut my medication way back.
I’m pleased not only with the progress with my back and leg pain, but also how the treatments helped the nerve to my prostate.

Shingles
I came to Dr. Schultz with tingling in my right rib area that wrapped around to my stomach. Dr. Schultz placed me on his computer and found that there was a big problem.
After numerous questions, Dr. Schultz diagnosed me with shingles. The interesting thing is that he knew it was shingles before the blistering skin lesion appeared. They showed up two days after the Kronomax computer found the problem.
Shingles is intensely painful. It feels like boiling water has been poured onto your skin day and night.
Dr. Schultz explained that a virus is responsible for shingles and it attacks the sheath that surrounds the nerve. Chiropractic treatments help this infection by helping heal the nerve.
I found the nerve stimulator to be a great help. Commonly people my age can have shingles for several weeks or even months. With chiropractic care and therapy, I had the pain and skin eruptions for only five days.
Since then, I’ve brought my daughter in for headaches that she gets at school. At first we thought it was her vision and maybe she needed glasses, but the eye doctor said they were fine. That’s when we suspected that she may have a misaligned vertebrae. The treatments have really helped her too!

Fingers Numb, Tense, Headaches & Sinuses

Pain Radiating Into Ribs, Asthma
I had been having severe pain on my left side and under the left chest area for approximately three months before consulting my medical doctor. My medical doctor told me not to worry.
Six months later, the pain was worse on the left area. This time, when I went to my medical doctor, he ran every test possible yet found nothing “medically wrong.” He told me to live with the pain.
The pain continued for over one year and I finally went to Dr. Schultz’s office for help.
After about 3-5 chiropractic treatments the pain began to ease up. I’ve never felt better! I had doubts and fears in general at first, but now my doubts and fears are no more.

Asthma
I work in a large hospital with infant respirators and respiration units. I not only have studied asthma and respiratory problems at length, and work daily with such problems, but I also suffered from very bad asthma.
Dr. Schultz told me that after resolving my major complaint, he could begin working to relieve my asthma. I didn’t know what he meant by that.
Dr. Schultz began to adjust my upper back area. He showed me how the nerves in my upper back also go into my lungs.
About two months later I was able to cut back my asthma medication by three tablets a day. My medical doctor was amazed since I was once told I would someday have to live with a respirator!

Could Barely Tie Shoes
Since beginning treatment with Dr. Schultz in Johnston, I’ve been able to live a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Headaches, Nose Bleeds, Stomach Problems and Fatigue
I had been allergic to sugar for 7 years or more. That is, until I received care from Dr. Schultz.
I had severe headaches, nose bleeds, stomach problems and fatigue. Sugar gave me violent headaches. I couldn’t eat any sugar, cake, candy or the headaches would hit.
I went in for treatments because of the back pains that started putting big restraints on my life.
During the initial exam, I pointed to the area of my pain. Dr. Schultz later found that I had an irritated nerve in my spinal column. He told me there was a chance that my sugar intolerance was due to a problem with my pancreas.
When I showed him where my back problem was, he showed me how the nerves from that area went to my pancreas.
After some treatments to this area of my back, I can again eat sugar, which I haven’t been able to do in at least 7 years (due to the headaches and nervousness it caused).
Dr. Schultz completely cured all of these problems that I had with his analysis of the nerves.
Because of my results with Dr. Schultz’s treatments, I’ve decided to pursue a degree in Chiropractic myself (6 to 8 years).
The quickness of my results has more than convinced me that Chiropractic is the medicine of tomorrow. Drugs and more drugs sure wasn’t the route for me. Chiropractic was!

Neck Pain & Allergies
My parents brought me to Dr. Schultz with severe neck pain on the back part of my neck. I could not move it from one side to the other very easily.
After a few gentle treatments, I could begin to turn my neck further with no pain.
Dr. Schultz is gentle and kind, and he really cares about you when he treats you.
I had some congestion in my nose for many years, and since he treated me, I haven’t had any sinus problems.
I have suffered with allergies and would like others to know that he has done so much for me with just a few treatments. I think people should check with him to see what he can do to help.
In my case, the treatment of my neck problem resulted in helping my allergies.

Sinus Problems and Sinus Headaches
My dad brought me in to see if Dr. Schultz could help my sinuses. I’ve had problems since I was about eight years old.
They were so bad that I had a constant running or dripping nose and headaches 2-3 times each week.
Dr. Schultz found a rotated vertebra in my upper neck. He showed me how the nerves in that area go to my sinuses and regulate the amount of fluid which is produced.
After two months, I had only occasional problems with my sinuses (maybe once every other month).

Blood Pressure
I had been seeing Dr. Schultz for a problem in my neck and had been very happy with the results.
One day I mentioned my high blood pressure to Dr. Schultz. He told me how others had been helped by chiropractic, so I agreed to an exam to see if he could help me.
After taking an x-ray and conducting an exam, Dr. Schultz gave me his recommendations. Instead of coming in monthly, I was seen daily for a short time and given instructions on bending and getting into cars.
Dr. Schultz told me to continue my blood pressure medication, but to see my medical doctor right away to monitor the changes.
Each month I saw my medical doctor, and each month my blood pressure went down. I was taken from three tablets per day to one per day in ten weeks.
My blood pressure is now normal. I’m very grateful and my medical doctor still can’t believe how well Dr. Schultz’s treatments worked for me.
Amazing to me is that I did not have any pain in the area of the spine that Dr. Schultz began the treatments. He noted that it is common to have no pain where the problem is—and that the symptoms show up elsewhere, such as my blood pressure.
