Jean Ann

Jean Ann is our Physician Assistant and Office Manager.  She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and went on to receive her Chiropractic Technologist degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  This specialty degree is designed to assist the chiropractic physician in all aspects of practice, including taking x-rays, examining patients, & working closely with the doctor on case management.

Jean Ann is also the friendly voice answering the phone and scheduling appointments.

Jean AnnThe decision to pursue a career in chiropractic was a natural one for Jean Ann since she grew up in a chiropractic family.  Her father,  Dr. William Peterson, retired in 2001 after practicing in Waterloo for 35 years.  Jean Ann helped her father in his clinic as a young girl and saw first-hand how patients benefited from chiropractic care.

For over 10 years Jean Ann has served our patients and continues to be a valuable asset in the practice. You will find her to be very knowledgeable, professional and caring.

Dr. Schultz Asks some important questions of interest to Johnston residents - Chiropractor Johnston Dr. Schultz Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Johnston and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic practice member knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
