She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and went on to receive her Chiropractic Technologist degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. This specialty degree is designed to assist the chiropractic physician in all aspects of practice, including taking x-rays, examining patients, & working closely with the doctor on case management.

Jean Ann is also the friendly voice answering the phone and scheduling appointments.

Jean AnnThe decision to pursue a career in chiropractic was a natural one for Jean Ann since she grew up in a chiropractic family. Her father, Dr. William Peterson, retired in 2001 after practicing in Waterloo for 35 years. Jean Ann helped her father in his clinic as a young girl and saw first-hand how patients benefited from chiropractic care.

Dr. Schultz Asks some important questions of interest to Johnston residents - Chiropractor Johnston Dr. Schultz Asks...

Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more Johnston parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
